Paris, June 2025 -

People and Technology, a South Korea-based pioneer in IoT-powered monitoring solutions, made a strong debut at Viva Technology 2025, Europe’s largest tech and startup event. This participation marked our comeback to Europe, years after our deployment at Clinique La Prairie in Switzerland, with a renewed ambition to support the continent’s digital transformation.

Reconnecting with Europe, Post-COVID

Our primary goal for attending VivaTech this year was to re-evaluate the European healthcare market in the wake of COVID-19, better understand its evolving challenges, and introduce our latest innovations to local professionals. We wanted to give European stakeholders the opportunity to experience the state-of-the-art technologies currently driving digital healthcare innovation in Korea.

While healthcare remains a core vertical for us, our solutions extend far beyond hospitals. During the event, we also engaged with professionals from construction, public infrastructure, and industrial safety sectors. Many were particularly interested in our real-time access control, people tracking, and worker safety solutions; applicable in factories, public venues, and high-risk areas.

Engaging Demonstrations, Real-time Insights

At Booth S26-003, visitors participated in hands-on demos of our Real Time Health System -RTHS-, exploring:

• RealTime Asset and People Tracking: Featuring BLE wristbands with SOS buttons, staff lanyards, and asset tags in multiple formats for seamless, scalable location tracking.
• Remote Vital Sign Monitoring: With the Hi-cardi patch, a wireless, compact device enabling continuous monitoring of ECG, respiration, and temperature. Visitors could test the patch on-site and view their data instantly.
• Environmental Sensing: Real-time booth temperature readings showcased our solutions for facility environment monitoring.

All our solutions run on a single platform that simplifies operations and offers centralized control—a key advantage for any organization navigating digital transformation.

Global Presence, Local Sensitivity

As we scale globally, we recognize the importance of local values and regulations. In Europe, we observed a strong emphasis on data privacy, particularly regarding people monitoring. Our technology is designed with privacy by default, and we are committed to earning users’ trust through transparency and thoughtful implementation; especially in sensitive sectors like healthcare.

Confirming a Global Need

From startups to investors and global corporates, VivaTech 2025 welcomed over 180,000 visitors and 14,000 startups from 171 nationalities. We were proud to represent Korean innovation on this global stage, alongside other major tech players. The overwhelming interest we received confirmed that real-time IoT monitoring is not only thriving, but essential across industries.
